Alphabet browsing in Playlist mode?
« on: September 10, 2008, 11:49:51 am »
Hi,

I know that you can perform alphabet searching in artist mode on the phatbox (i.e. pressing forward/back results in the phatbox announcing letters of the alphabet to quickly get you to the artist you want) but does anybody know of any hacks/tweaks to allow this in playlist mode?

Thanks in advance

Playlist mode does not support SSA/VIOT options.

If you use my latest release of PhatHack Media Manager you can use the built-in PhatSort options to modify what each of the SSA modes means by linking it to something else (can't remember if Playlist is supported by this though - if not, perhaps I should add it) and then sorting by whatever criteria you feel like.

That's about the only 'workaround' I can think of.....
