PHTSYS Partition only has 2 files?

I was updating my DMS and eventually started over and reformatted using the "Create New DMS" with the Hack Tools 2.12.  I have the VW Phatnoise and its hacked and using firmware 7.02. 

I was using PMM 3.92.  In the software things were ok, but in the car, I had troubles.  I kept getting "CD-X, No magazine" error on the headunit.  I re-formatted a few times and same problem. 

Then I tried using PMM 2.30 and it said my DMS needed to be initialized and brought up the wizard.  It was trying to download and install firmware (I think), but didn't have the VW Phatnoise version listed there, so I'd cancel it.

I tried PHMM 0.9a and it worked ok also, but in the car still getting the same error.

Then I was looking inside the actual files and noticed PHTSYS only has 2 files:  phatbox.ini and phatman.ini.  I thought it should have more.  I opened the phatbox.ini and only has this:

I know this is wrong because I have a backup of my original phatbox.ini file and it has lots of lines.  So I tried copying this backed up version onto the DMS but, it didn't help.  Getting same errors.  Anyone can help?

Hi, I had this problem last week and had the same messages that my dms was unitialized, I downloaded the firmware files from here:
http://phatbox.sixpak.org/firmware/
I then unzipped them to the PHTSYS folder, and then plugged the DMS into the phatbox and after ten minutes it had stopped flashing the green light on the phatbox and would play music again.. Im new to this, so If there is an easier way someone will probably say soon.

There's a log file generated by the DMS tools in My docs/PhatHack Media Manager/Logs.  Have a look in there to give you a clue as to why the PHTSYS side of things isn't working.  Start by emptying the directory so we have a nice clean set of logs, and then running the 'Repair DMS (PHTSYS)' routine selecting the appropriate firmware.

What really seems strange is that it's talking to dailyphat.com instead of downloads.phathack.com .....

The URL string firmwarefirmware must have something to do with my fixing the /am.xml and /firmware/am.xml to be the same... are they both supposed to be relative paths?

I made it /firmware so it shouldn't have mattered... but apparently the code appends anyway?

still wth is making things talk to dailyphat.com?

*cough*  Sincere deepest  apologies.  I guess that when I started this project dailyphat still existed.

Seems that the primary URL being used in the tools is http://www.dailyphat.com/firmware, but I also coded a backup URL of http://downloads.phathack.com/.  *whistles innocently*

Fixing am.xml probably won't work ... I'll take this offline with you Sam.
