Phatnoise Media Manager Version 3.76, Questions?

I've been using a paid version of Media Mgr for a few weeks.  I have ver 3.75.  I can't get the system to update to 3.76 for whatever reason.

Let me know if you guys keep getting a message saying, "Please reboot your computer before running the application". I keep gettting that message and I've restarted the computer 10 times.

I've even tried uninstalling the program and starting over, but I keep getting that message and the program won't run.

Delete the pnreb file in the media manager directory.  It is zero bytes in size.  Magically, the problem goes away.  I have to do this with each XP system I install PMM on.

That did it thanks! I submitted an email to Phatnoise but they don't help much.

when I installed my version of PM it told me there was a doanload available.  I downloaded it and now I have v 2.3.  You guys are all talking about 3.76.  Should I download it.

Please be gentle i'm new to Phatbox and this forum :-/

go directly to their website and click on Downloads, then Media Manager.  Fill out the info and that's it.

Welcome to the forum.

What you have been running is Pahtnoise Music Manager - the latest is 2.30.  But most users seem now to use Phatnoise Media Manager - latest is 3.76.   This has (in my view) a better user interface, and is intended to support other media types such as video, although the normal Phatbox (as used in Audi, VW, etc) is only an audio device.
