HACK FAILED ON NEW WORKING DMS , dead box?
« on: April 03, 2015, 04:43:47 pm »
so i got my new oem working dms system "audi" tested everything was working fine, applied the hack onto the oem dms after backing up with the oem phatbox sw

inserted it into the box, it acted like it was playing a track but never any sounds or voices

came back 10 mins later to no changer found

i had backed up my oem dms with the oem phatbox sw

after reading there was an issue with having both sw installed i un installed both the hack sw and oem phatbox sw

reinstalled the hack sw

ran the steps to create a new fresh unhacked updated 7.0.1 firmware, its currently sitting in the car flashing the green led "5-20 mins time?" still waiting

am i doing the right steps to unbrick this? thanks

You are running PMM in Windows 64 bits?

I haven't been able to drag'n'drop never in any 64 bits O.S. The only way I've found to put music with this configuration us creating .m3u playlists (MP3Tag works fine for this) and importing them with PMM.

Hope it helps...

Ps. Drag'n'drop works fine in Windows XP and Windows XP Mode inside Windows 7 x64
