Voice prompt
« on: February 24, 2016, 03:31:43 pm »
Hello guys.
I am new to the forum.
A few days ago I patched a Kenwood HKD - C710 because the original DMS started to make noise so that the HD was going to break. And in fact now the old DMS does not work anymore.
All went well. I created the new DMS. Only that I can not disable the voice prompts. Meaning that even if I disable using PMM 2:30 when I change playlists I hear the voice that pronounces the title. In the above it does not happen. I also created more new DMS to see what was going on. But all I can not disable the voice prompts.
Can you tell me why I can not and what procedure should I follow .... ?
Sorry if I do not write properly, but my English is a little rusty.
 ;)

At least in my case (Volvo HU) that's not a configuration of the DMS, but of the HU. I think it gets stored in the DMS, but you have to configure it in the HU. When I put a new DMS (or a formated one) I have to change the default settings in my HU, then they get stored and I can change DMSs withou any further configuration.

Regards.

Solved.
I regenerate the voice prompts by the appropriate role of PhatNoise Music Manager 2.3 and now everything works.
Now I can disable the voice prompts or change the settings.
Greetings.
