Incorrect Volume Labels Foound
« on: November 28, 2006, 04:10:11 am »
Yes, I am new....yes, I tried the search function and I had zero hits on any of the phrases or words above.

So here's where I am at. On my known working DMS, I boot of of ver 1.5. When I load my "good" DMS, it immediately says " Incorrect volume labels found".....

Where do I go from here? The search function doesn't seem to show anything. The drives are correctly labeled and the profiles and Default are both in upper case. The "Default" antry is correct in the profiles.ini folder.

All I would like to do is repair two old cartridges with messed up partions....

Thanks for the help in advance

Actually, the search engine on this site is tricky.  By default, it only searches for posts made in the last week.  If you use the same search terms and change the default to search all posts, you will get several hits that may help with your problem.

Most likely, you need to run a repair on the DMS.  You may be able to do that with DMS Doctor, or the repair CD.  To save you some time searching, check these posts:
