Will Phatbox work with a uk spec vw satnav mfd version g.

Hi, i'm a newbee on this forum.
Not sure if this post is in the right place.
I've got a us spec phatbox, and a uk spec vw satnav mfd version g..
I now know that these 2 units are incompatible, due to different internal voltage operating issues?? Well that's what i've been told.
I'm no expert here.
Is there an easy fix?
Any help or advice will be most appreciated.
