modify SSA...

Hello again, i have a VW phatbox switched to kenwood, custom SSA installed (thks to this forum for this) and i have a few more questions...
1) i don't use playlist or genre browsing, is there a modify that i could do, to have only artist and album browsing with SSA?
2)when i navigate with list on touch screen, is there a possibility to have this:
choose artist by touching list on screen, and automaticly switch to album mode and see directly the albums of this artist (and not all albums)?
and even better open list of tracks when choosing album...
so i could navigate in artists/albums/tracks like in folders/subfolders...could be very nice!
i have nice touch screen, and may SSA could be optimised to use it better...

I don't know of any way to do what you want... eventually we'll be able to, assuming I ever get the replacement programs running... but currently it's all pretty much hard coded.

couldn't that be done by changing the phatbox.ini where the number tags are for each button press? just remove the two ssa modes you don't want to switch through?

I would repost this saying you want to disable those two ssa modes for navigation in the Phatbox Hardware forum and see if someone there can help.

hello, i just tryed to change these... no effect!
i try to activate voice for track list inside an album, no way too...

I don't do much with modding the ini files but there are some folks on the board that are familiar with it and hopefully can help.  do some searching around and find some threads dealing with changes to the phatbox.ini and i think you can find some help that way.
