From phatnoise.org's download section.  I can't even login to their site right now to post the question there or see the downloads section right now.  I copied the file down Thurs and ran the install on my Vista Ultimate computer, it gets almost done with the install and gives me the error:

---------------------------
Error
---------------------------
C:\Program Files\PhatNoise Music Manager\Data.Cab
A decompression error has been detected. (#7)

A decompression error has been detected._CRC

I thought my download was bad, deleted it and downloaded again, same problem.  Then I tried to install on another Vista computer, same problem.  I don't have an XP computer to try, but I think this version should work on Vista because others here are saying they are getting this installed (but having the voice prompt issues).

If I download the version that you have to register, that installs fine, but obviously that's not what I need since I own a Phatbox and have a new computer I'm trying to get this working with.  The reason for doing this is a new computer, my XP computer hard drive died and I don't have anything but the original CD that came with my Phatbox, none of the software updates, etc.

Thanks!

The file is bad, although it shows the correct file size, the MD5 sum will not be correct - it's a problem that's been suffered many a time with that and other downloads direct from Harman for some reason.

I'll re-check the file, until the MD5 sums match up and then get you to try again.

As for your login problem, it's probably an issue with your browser security.
See this post for more details:

Okay I've replaced the file on the server, and now the MD5 checksums match.
Please re-try the download.  MD5 checksum is: 401a5ae21622711fdba06f83a0f97d08
