if I do the hack on my phatbox and music kegs, will still be able to play back my audible files?  Yes, I do have a subscription, and it has been working on my v dub phatbox since I got it and I love listening to books on my one hour commute each day and do not want to lose the ability to do this.   

If I use dms hacks will they still work?

Hacking the box does not modify what files you can and can't play, so you'll be fine.

The hacks bypass some of the authentication processes used for plugins, and allows you to use any non-phatnoise disk inside the DMS.
