Browsing by Genre

I've been searching for a way to browse by Genre in my music keg. I just bought an excelon x990 because I needed any upgrade anyway and I was under the impression that browsing through an mp3 CD you can browse by genre, it would do the same for the keg. I was wrong. The deck looks great though! Anyway, I was looking to get the VIOT plug-in because I read that I can get these options form it but its no longer available.
Can anyone recommend a way to get this done?

Look towards the bottom... also I believe the new versions of VorTechS's hack program can enable SSA for kenwood.
