FS: VW/Audi Phatbox

VW/Audi phatbox.  In working condition.  PB only.  (It also comes with the VW cable for this price.)

$50.00 sound reasonable?

(I also have a brand new Audi PB cable, if you wish to use this in an Audi)

Paid $15.00 just two weeks ago for it from the dealership.

Is it patched?  That could be important if you're not selling a DMS with it...

It means 'hacked to use a non-PhatNoise DMS'

To the best of my knowledge it has not been "hacked" and is all original.  I have done nothing but use it.

To mskr life easier for the new owner, you should hack it so that they can put their own disk in it.

Can you point me to the link that tells me how to do that?

I'm not computer savy, but I have a good friend who works in "IT" who is certainly knowledgeable enough to do it.  If you can tell me where to find the detailed instructions, perhaps he can do it for me.

Which cable you have? the one from PB to HU, how long is it and is it 8 pin or 12 pin???

I have the cable from the Phatbox... to the cable or hook up *in* the car itself.(I assume this is what you mean by "HU"...head unit)  The plug is 12 pin, and measures out at approx. 4 feet, 10 inches.

Does this fit what you are looking for?

The cable I'm looking for is the one that connects from the radio to the cable that comes with the phatbox, could be 4 feet or longer, it has a blue 12 pin quadlock connector in one end and a black rectangular 12 pin connector, is that the one tou have???

I purchased it from the dealer via ebay.  Hopefully the picture can help you see if it is what you need.

I'm not sure this is what you want, as their auction even states; "This cable Mounts between the Phatbox & The CD Changer Harness."  It sounds like you want one from the stereo deck to the phatbox.
