Drive or cradel issue?
« on: April 10, 2008, 11:27:19 am »
Hi all,I have a Fujitsu ATA 7 PATA drive  120 gigs and the hack went fine in the car BUT heres what happens
when I go to load the cartridge it comes up with ( ,F) with only the PHTDTA folder in windows and this causes PMM phatnoise music manager to obviously not work.If I leave and come back in 10-15 minutes the thing finallty recognizes the cartridge and im able to load it normally. It does the same in the car.
Ok I tried to redo the build a cartridge again with same results.Weird ?Perhaps I missed a step??
So the car said HACK sucessful but the cartridge or drive is taking a long time.....any ideas?

There may be some issues with v2.10 of the tools with partition creation, if you used that to create the new DMS.

Okay, not may be, there are.  It creates a huge amount of wasted space which I think causes Windows to scan the entire disk for content causing the severe delay.

PM me and I'll send you a link to 2.11 for you to try them out and prove the theory.
