Audi Phatbox in 08 Mini Cooper

I have a Phatbox currently installed in a 2000 Audi S4. I would like to install it in my next car, a 2008 Mini Cooper S.
I found a post here stating that it may be possible, but provided no details on what may be needed.
Has anyone done this?
