2006 X5 Phatnoise text display?

Is it possible to have the name of the song displayed on a 2006 BMW X5? The unit works great but this feature would also be great.

Short answer:  No.

Longer answer:  Only Phatboxes running Kenwood or Sony firmware, connected to the appropriate head units (Kenwood or Sony), can display track names, disc names, etc.  All others have to use the voice navigation and just get something like D01 T09 displayed.

It could be possible to hack some of the other firmwares to display text, but I don't recall anyone on this forum ever attempting that.
