Will a hacked box still play an original (unhacked) DMS?

I am trying to determine if the hack on the box succeeded or not. Thanks

Yes it will.  You are hacked when you hear the PhatBox announce that you are hacked. ('Your system is now unlocked' message).  This is the simplest indicator.  The patch process sometimes appears not to write one of the log files that the hack process looks for, even though the box can be hacked.

(It does appear to create on subsequent patch attempts).

Thanks Vortech.

My new 100GB drive is working great. The hack worked the first time - just wasnt sure.

I had to run the repair on the new drive 2X but all fine now.
