USB 1 cradle

I have a Kenwood USB 1 cradle that has developed a problem
I was loading some tunes and heard a pop, and that nice smell
Now my cradle isn't working and it also took out the new 40 gig drive.

Is there a schematic available some place for the cradle so I
can attempt a fix
