Music Keg to Sony Unilink cable question

Just purchased a Music Keg and it came with a cable. From the pinout it does not look like I can splice the phatbox end of the Kenwood cable to a Unilink cable because the Kenwood cable has no wire connected to pin 21. Pin 21 is DATA on Unilink. Just wanted to make sure that this is correct? So I will have to either buy a premade Unilink cable or purchase the 26 pin 10126-3000VE part and wire it up.
