Recreating Database
« on: September 28, 2009, 09:30:27 pm »
Hello. I just had my hard drive that had all my media on it fail.  Luckily for my music at least I have a good deal of it on my DMS.  I also recently went through th4e whole procedure of ulocking and replacing my drive in my DMS and getting all of that to work so I would rather not reinstall Media Manger if I don't have too.  The issue I am having is that I am trying to get Media Manager to rebuild the database on my new media hard drive on my computer (this time a RAID 5 array).  I moved the pointer for my music folder and the database folder in media manager but when I tell it to sync (one way to the computer) it says synched even though the new drive is empty.  I am manually copying over the music files right now using explorer (which will take a couple of hours I am sure) but that isn't going to solve my sync problem.

Any suggestions for how to get Media Manager to recognize that I am now storing my music on my computer in a new location?

Thanks.
