Phatnoise DMS not detected

I have a DMS cradle USB 2.0 and I am running with Windows Vista.  After loading the Phatnoise music manager I cannot get the program/computer (not sure where the problem exist) to recognize the DMS.  I will go to the Device screen, select Phatnoise DMS and it tells me to reconnect.  I try to reconnect and it gives me the same message time after time.  I really have no idea why this does not work but was thinking it has to do with either windows vista or my USB connection.  Any advice?
