PMM Automatic Update no longer working

The automatic database update functionality has quit working on PMM v2.30 when it used to work fine.  When I rip a CD with another program (Audiograbber or Media Jukebox) it puts the CD out there as before, however PMM does not pick it up, either automatically upon start of PMM or via the "Update Database" button.   The only way it will pick it up is to manually "Load Songs".  Anyone know if there a program setting or registry setting that I can check/correct?
