Hello all. My first post, but I have a a problem

I just got my PhatBox today and I was extremely happy with the whole ordering process from Clair parts until I tried to set it up. It seems everthing has gone smooth except I can't get the USB cradle to work at all. There are no lights comming on at all. I did everything just as stated: Install the software, plug in the power to the cradle, and then plug into the USB port. Well, not a thing. Is there something I'm missing or should I call to return it tomorrow?

So long as your power adaptor and USB port works, you should get lights...  I think you get lights even if you're not connected to the USB port so long as the DMS is fully seated in the cradle, but I'm not sure of that and am not at home.  Can somebody confirm that?

Got it to work by "reading the instructions." It appears that the metal clip needed to be bent upward and cleaned. It works now.
