Noob Help - Creating a Boot Disk with Nero
« on: November 16, 2005, 01:45:28 pm »
Can anyone give me some simple instructions on the best way to create a bootable cd with Nero.
I've downloaded the cd iso image but can't seem to get a boot disk to run on my pc??
I've configured the pc to boot from the cd first, so it's not that.
Any advice welcome.

Thanks

What files are on the CD ?

In nero, did you just create a new data CD and burn the .iso to the CD ? Or did you create a "Disk Image or Saved Project" ?

yea, depending on what version of Nero (version 5 or 6 - these instructions will not work with Nero Express), you may need to modify the instructions slightly..

1)Cancel the Nero wizard so you have the main Nero Burning Rom open with no compilations
2)Click File > Burn Image
you may need to change the "Files of Type" selector to include "ISO" files or seletct "All Files"
3)Select file
4)Burn
