PMM software not starting up

Hi there,

For some time I have been using PMM hapily, but recently I reinstalled my Windows xp based PC.
After this I reinstalled PMM 3.75 (and 3.76).

Now PMM is not starting up any more? IN the windows task manager I can see under processes that pmm.exe is running, but no cpu is used.

I also logged a ticket with Phatnoise, but after several suggestions they still are not able to fix it.

Is there maybe someone else who had this problem and knows how to fix it?

have you registered it or did you install it and it never ran at all?  What did phatnoise suggest you try?

have you patched your system with windows update since you reinstalled?  are you on SP2?

Hi,

I installed it and it nver run at all. I did not get to the register part.

I am not at home right now so I don't know exactly, but Phatnoise send me some ini file which added something in the registry, which did not help. They also suggested to emty the folder "data", but this folder was already empty :( and I fully patched my system including SP2 before installing PMM.
