working with windows 7 64bit
« on: February 06, 2013, 12:07:32 am »
have an older phatnoise 10gb keg that ive been using with my kenwood for a few years, but haven't been able to add music since my windows xp computer died

i was able to install the original music manager on my windows 7 computer, but was never able to get it to recognize my dms using the usb 1.1 cradle

just took the hard drive out of the dms cartdridge and connected it the computer with a usb hardrive adapter, and was recognized instantly

everything worked fine, but when i saved changes and ejected the dms, i would get the message that there was an error and to close other programs that might be accessing it (there were none)

after trying a few times to resave and eject, i just closed the program

put the drive back in the dms and into the suburban... and IT WORKED!!
