Phatbox in Display "No Disc "

Hello !

My Proplem is :

1. Phatbox boot up by turn on radio (VW Navi MCD ) Red and Green Led on ! its ok.
2. press button CD, on the Display "NO DISC "
3. turn the Radio off - The LED RED and Green ( the lights turn on and stay on!!! )
4. when i reconnect the phatbox cable turn off the lights.

can somebody help me?

I had a similar problem a while back and after spending a lot of time and money on new hardware, cables etc the solution was simple: The ribbon cable inside the Keg had come loose. You can check this by carefully removing the outer housing of the Keg.

Could you elaborate on just where the cable came loose? was it inside the connector? i have been fighting this problem for over 3 years. How did you remove the outer housing? TIA
