The Mazda PB does not display text. however, the Kenwood Keg and a kenwood HU will display text. and a PB and a Keg are identical inside. only the firmware is different so the capability is there....Never said it was going to be easy.
Rumour has is that that Auxmod boys will be able to do iPod text at some point in the future. I am hoping that is true. I have had some pretty good email transaction with them and they have some inside info so i am quite confident that might be true.
And like i said, the Mazda Sirius radio module will do text on the display so the capability is there.
And it cant be that hard. i mean look at all the work that went on here to hack the PB code and write a new firmware and all! So it is not impossible.
Where there is a will,...there IS a way.
