F3 commands not working

So, I flashed my VW phatbox months ago but never upgraded my DMS.

I now have an 80 GB and am trying the manual DMS hack from this post http://forum.phathack.com/cgi-bin/yabb2/YaBB.pl?num=1123119033 .

I am trying to repartition and reformat the new drive from the F3 menu.  None of the commands appears to work.  Nothing seems to happen no matter which I select.

Any ideas?

Try another keyboard would be my first suggestion.

I've tried it from two different laptops.  I'll try it from one of my desktops next, but I think it doesn't like the cordless keyboard i'm using hooked up through a kvm switch.

Ok...I figured it out a while back.  I got a little too clever with myself.  I was trying to take a shortcut in creating the new DMS by using a generic USB 3.5" drive adapter to avoid swapping the dive into the DMS mid-process.  I see now you must use the DMS cradle for the hack cd to work.

My 80GB is up and running!  Now to get more music...
