but i have a question.
i want to buy a new phatbox in the usa. the pb is there very cheap.
i live in germany and i have a kdc mp6090 kenwood hu.
work the us version of the pb with the german kenwood hu?

someone told me there is a different between us and the german pb.

There is a different chip installed but it is only needed when using EU spec VW or Audi Sat Nav Head Units.

But this chip is not needed when using Kenwood or standard (non sat nav)  VW & Audi Head Units.

The only difference that will effect you using a Kenwood is the (PSU) power supply to the USB Cradle.

Not sure of the power supply & plug type in Germany but if it is not the same as  USA spec then you need to replace it this is £10 in the UK.
