Tried the Hack - Did not seem to work. Any Help Appreciated

I am a complete noobie to this but not to technology persay. I have aquired a DMS-020GF (I hope it will work in the Keg KHD-710) There were some initial problems but I seem to have resolved them with DMS Tools via a full repair. My initial hack did not seem to take, the log files mentioned in the hack proceedure text were not there.

Having now done a full repair and applied the latest kenwood firmware 13.01, the hack will not apply. I start the hack, it skips to Stage 6, then gives the following error at stage 7:

"It would appear the patch failed on your PhatBox, please join the PhatHack Community forums [http://forum.phathack.com] and post the contents of the file PHTSYS/logfile.txt  Patch was not applied or failed to start, there is no patchverify.log"   

When I explore PHTSYS there is no log file.   

Can anyone advise, please?
