Does the hack work with the "Eddie Filoa" mod?

Has anyone here hacked a Phatbox that they were using with a VW MFD? I have a Phatbox that I succesfully modified with the "Eddie Foila" mod listed here: http://4130-products.com/step/Phatbox/ .

Has anyone hacked one they modifies to work with their  VW MFD? Is it OK?

I had never seen this before, but there is absolutely no reason for there to be any issues with hacking a box with this firmware and mod.  Apply the hack with confidence, it won't hurt you.

So the hack does not change the firmaware of the Phatbox? It just modifies the DMS?

The hack temporarily modifies the DMS so that some small changes can be made to some checking code in memory in the Phatbox/Keg. This is not the same as the firmware that is loaded for different head units, so hacking a box does not stop it working with a currently set up head unit, and if you change head units later your box remains fully hacked.

Yea, there are two places that code is stored on the phatbox.  The firmware that phatnoise updates is in one place, while what the hack changes is in another and was supposed to have been un-changable.
