Well, according to the spec it would work.  

BUT... I would not consider buying it for a moment.  First, as you say, the seller isn't giving a manufacturer.  That implies they don't really know what buyers expect for such an item - so what kind of sevice can you expect, what kind of warranty, what kind of packaging for shipment?  Second, the seller has feedback of 1 - hardly a track record on which to trust sending the nearly $200 that this is likely to sell for.

Prices for these on Ebay generally get to 80% to 90% of what you can pay from a web based retailer if you shop around (Newegg.com in the US, Pyramid.com, Dabs.com in the UK).  I don't think it's worth the risk just to save a few dollars or pounds.

Cool, thanks! I saw that on ebay and wondered what the difference would be between that one and one like the Seagate 160gb.
